Group Presentations#
In small groups, students will present and moderate an in-class conversation about one of the assigned readings. The presentations should be 30–45 minutes long and include a brief introduction to the topic, a summary of the reading highlighting the main arguments, areas of interest, counter-arguments, and new discoveries. The presentation must include illustrations of contemporary artists, artworks and/or cultural phenomena that relate to the topic. Following the presentation, the group must be prepared to moderate an engaging 20–30 minute class discussion on topics related to the reading. Moderation format, questions and/or activities must be prepared in advance. All students should read the text before the presentation and engage in active discussion.
